Simon became a partner in 2005 and is now a director of Simon Ratcliffe Limited, one of our corporate partners. He is dual-qualified as a solicitor advocate and barrister, heading up the firm’s highly-rated company commercial department. Qualifying in 1997, Simon worked in the City of London for a number of years before joining Greene & Greene in 2002. He has served as the firm’s managing partner since 2015.

Specialising in the acquisition, disposal and reorganisation of private companies, Simon is the corporate lawyer for Kentro Capital Limited, the largest independent specialty Managing General Agent (MGA) in the London market, whom he advises on all aspects of company commercial matters. He is also the preferred solicitor for local business sales agents Axis and receives regular instructions from local accountants.
Simon has experience of numerous jurisdictions and has recently undertaken transactions in the US, Hong Kong, Malaysia and throughout Europe. Simon’s M&A practice is diverse; he is involved in deals of all sizes and was recently instructed in a transaction approaching £200m.
