Murray has a lifetime’s experience of managing risk and compliance
Called to the Bar in 1985, his first twenty plus working years were spent in financial services and insurance, before moving across to the legal sector when he joined Taylor Vinters in 2007. His travels led him to work for a leading Norfolk law firm, from where he joined Greene & Greene at the beginning of 2024.
What does Murray do for the firm?
Murray brings his expertise to helping colleagues to comply with a range of legal and regulatory requirements, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Data Protection and the Law Society/SRA.
This means translating the technical into easy-to-understand language, providing guidance and support to colleagues with queries, working on policies, procedures and controls to help us maintain standards; and training colleagues on what is expected from them, in order to enable the firm to attain the highest levels of compliance.
What else should you know?
Outside of work, Murray has a keen interest in current affairs and enjoys time down on his local allotment, which he finds great for his mental health.
