Jonathan Mathers

Partner

Jonathan is a “family” solicitor who advises clients on all aspects of private client work

Jonathan became a partner in 2008 and is now a director of Jonathan Mathers Limited, one of our corporate partners. Heading up the firm’s Residential and Agricultural Property team, he is very much a “family” solicitor who advises clients on all aspects of private client work.

Having qualified in 1996, other than a two year stint in the City, he has worked in Suffolk throughout his career and developed a client base that spans a range of individuals and families, farming partnerships, developers, investors and charities.

What can Jonathan do for you?

Bringing many years’ experience to property transactions, he principally focuses on agricultural and rural property matters, delivering guidance on all areas of land ownership and the many legal requirements that go with it.

What else should you know?

His interest in private client law stems from the period of running his own practice in Sudbury and clients continue to appreciate his common sense advice and ability to simplify complicated issues.

Jonathan was appointed as the Under Sheriff of Suffolk in April 2019.

What do others say?

Jonathan is recommended in the Legal 500 and highly ranked by Chambers.
