James Southward

James is a Chartered legal executive in our commercial property team

James qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2022, though he has been practising as a conveyancer since 2014 at regional firms in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. He joined Greene & Greene in 2023 as a lawyer in the Commercial Property team. Since joining the firm, James has supported the growth and development of the Agricultural & Rural Affairs team with his expertise in agricultural and equine property, leading on a variety of transactions and aiding the wider team.

WHAT CAN James DO FOR YOU?

James acts for a wide variety of individuals and small and medium sized businesses, advising on all aspects of commercial and rural property transactions, including acquisitions, sales, estate development, leases, overages, easements and covenants, as well as lending and re-financing. James also assists the Corporate and Private Client teams on property elements arising in those areas of practice.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD YOU KNOW?

James plays competitive badminton and has been the Chairman of his local team since 2022. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and Labrador and is currently undertaking some fairly serious renovations to the family home.
