Greg Jones is a Partner and now a director of Greg M S Jones Limited, one of our corporate partners. Greg is a specialist human resources lawyer in Greene & Greene’s Employment team. Greg qualified as a Solicitor in 2009 and has considerable experience advising businesses and individuals on a range of employment matters. Greg joined Greene & Greene in 2016 and joined the Partnership in 2018.

What can Greg do for you?

Greg works across a range of sectors and on all aspects of employment law. Recent matters include advising on executive appointments and dismissals, defending complex employment tribunal claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination, equal pay and whistleblowing, resolving tricky workplace matters involving long-term ill health, bringing and defending breach of contract claims, advising on business reorganisations and redundancy exercises and employment aspects of business sales and transfers (TUPE).

What else should you know?

Greg is an experienced public speaker and trainer. He was recently invited to present to the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) on the ‘challenges of mental health in the modern workplace’ and to speak to some of London’s top Hotels on spotting and preventing sexual harassment.

A member of the Employment Lawyers Association (ELA), Greg regularly responds to government consultations via their working parties.

He is an active member of the Round Table, raising funds for numerous local good causes. He enjoys skiing, sailing, tennis, hockey, football, golf… the list goes on. He has three children, lives in Woodbridge and ran across the Grand Canyon with two friends, for fun!

What do others say?

The pragmatic nature of the advice he provides and the speed of response is unique in my experience of other law firms. Greg also has a unique ability to distil complex matters into a way that is easy to understand without becoming condescending.
