Andrew became a partner in 2015 and is now a director of Andrew P Cooper Limited, one of our corporate partners.
He is a specialist lawyer in Greene & Greene’s highly rated company commercial and private client teams. Andrew qualified as a solicitor in 2011, and has been with the firm since 2012.
What can Andrew do for you?
Andrew has considerable corporate and commercial experience, advising local and national businesses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures, shareholder and partnership agreements, and share incentive schemes. He also supports clients with a range of commercial contracts and compliance issues.
Andrew also works extensively within our Private Client team, advising on complex tax matters and wealth planning strategies. As a STEP-qualified practitioner, he provides specialist guidance on inheritance tax planning, trusts, and succession planning for individuals and families. In particular, Andrew combines his corporate and tax knowledge and experience to assist those with family businesses plan for the future.
What else should you know?
Andrew is a keen musician and amateur racing driver, and most weekends can be found either on a stage or a race track somewhere around the country! He is also a director of St Edmundsbury Cathedral Enterprises (which operates the commercial activities of the town’s Cathedral) and a director of the 750 Motor Club, which is one of the UK’s largest organisers of amateur motor sport events.
