Greene & Greene is delighted to announce Sarah Western has been promoted to Partner as of 1st December 2020.
Sarah leads the firm’s Construction team which is described in the Legal 500 [UK 2021 edition] as a ‘small, focused team that is hardworking and dedicated to client care‘. Noted as being “very competent” she joined Greene & Greene in 2018 to build the Construction team, bringing with her both international and city experience. She has this year been joined by two new recruits, Anna Britland, who specialises in non-contentious construction matters and Hugo Greer-Walker who brings with him a wealth of development expertise.
Working with Construction clients throughout East Anglia and London, Sarah has extensive experience of both contentious and non-contentious matters. Having previously completed a secondment at RG Carter, she also brings practical experience of the commercial issues from a client’s side as well as the legal perspective.
Sarah says, “I am delighted to join the Partnership and look forward to working with the team to continue to grow the firm’s Construction offering and take it from strength to strength”.
Alongside her Construction focus, Sarah is a member of the firm’s Disputes team and is noted by Legal 500 as being a “litigator who is determined, fierce and very effective”.
Michael Batty, Senior Partner at Greene & Greene, said:
“Sarah’s accession to the Partnership marks the beginning of another exciting chapter in the development and growth of Greene & Greene. I am particularly looking forward to the further expansion of our excellent Construction team under her leadership”
