Sponsored by Greene & Greene Solicitors, the Bury St Eds Tri Festival is returning to Bury St Edmunds on Sunday 11th August and will help to raise funds for Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS).
Greene & Greene are inviting local businesses to join them by entering a team of 3 into their very special ‘Team Relay’ event.
Abbeycroft Leisure will be hosting the event which will take place alongside the main Triathlon Festival and which has again been kindly organised by Haversports.
The ‘Team Relay’ event consists of a 300m swim (in the Abbeycroft pool); a 22km cycle; and a 5km run (both around Bury St. Edmunds) with each member of the team undertaking one discipline.
Whilst there is no entry fee for this event, the ultimate goal is of course to raise as much money as possible for SARS, which relies totally on donations. Teams are therefore encouraged to consider making a £150 donation.
