Private Client Summer Seminar (2) – ‘Lifetime Gifts’

July 6, 2023 | 8:30 am

Event Detail

Melanie Pilmer, Partner in our Family team, will look at how gifted assets might be protected within the family and in particular not exposed to the divorce courts.

Zoe Hodge will also look in more detail at gifts in the context of Court of Protection applications (where the person giving has lost capacity).

The aim of this session is to try and bring some clarity to these rules and to help you to do some forward planning. Part of the session will also deal with specific questions that you may want to raise. Please email any questions with your RSVP. We will review these before the session and ensure that most frequently asked are covered.

The session will run from 8.30am for registration and a light breakfast, before sitting down at 9am. We aim to close by 10.30am.

We do hope that you will be able to attend. If you can, please contact Claire Renvoize via email: clairerenvoize@greene-greene.com or on 01284 717447 to confirm your place. Please enclose any questions or dietary requirements in your reply.
