Event Detail
This session explores how the Employment Rights Act 2025 is reshaping the employment lifecycle — from recruitment decisions through to exits and redundancies. With major reforms affecting enforcement, dismissal rights and workforce restructuring, this webinar will provide practical insight into how employers should adapt their hiring practices and manage departures lawfully and fairly.
We will focus on the increased risks for employers, the expansion of enforcement powers and what these changes mean for workforce planning, outsourcing and redundancy exercises.
Date: Tuesday 16 June
Time: 10am – 10.30am
Location: Microsoft Teams
Who should attend?
HR professionals, in house legal teams, managers and business leaders involved in recruitment, restructuring, outsourcing or employee relations.
What we’ll cover:
• Employment tribunal claims — the extension of time limits to six months and how this increases exposure and record keeping obligations.
• Unfair dismissal reform — when protection now arises (after six months’ service) and how this affects probationary processes and dismissals.
• ‘Fire and rehire’ — why it will be automatically unfair in most cases and what lawful alternatives employers should consider.
