Employment: Coffee & Catch Up

On Thursday 11 July at 10am, our team will host the next 30-minute legal update over your morning coffee on Zoom.

July 11, 2024 | 10:00 am

Event Detail

Following the results of the general election, the UK will be welcoming a new government into power – one that set out big plans for employment law in their manifesto.

Labour promised to introduce legislation in Parliament within the first 100 days of entering government. ‘Plan to make work pay’ will, according to the manifesto, be pro-worker and pro-business. Some changes we might expect in the coming months include:

Deliver a genuine living wage
Improve workers rights to make jobs more secure
Support working people
Ban zero hour contracts
End fire and rehire
At this event, our team will run through the above predicted changes and give some insight into how these might translate to your business. You will also have the chance to ask questions to both our experts and your peers.

Book your place using the link below. Please include your questions or any topics you would like to be covered on the day in your reply.

Joining instructions will be sent a few days in advance of the event, but if you have any problems or questions, please contact Laura Watts on 01284 717422.

We look forward to seeing you then!
